Your Fabulous Website

Presented by Sofia Woods of Shortie Designs.


During this small group interactive presentation Sofia will be taking us through the key dimensions of the options and what re-a-l-l-y works for creating and enhancing websites. The goal will be for our respective websites to play a key role in growing our businesses as part of an overall web presence and marketing strategy. 


Sofia will focus on examples using Wordpress as this provides a user-friendly option for small businesses. 


This session will be geared to the topics requested by Women Howling at the Moon over recent months - and there'll be lots of opportunities for you to quiz Sophie - so BRING YOUR QUESTIONS ALONG!

(Chris: For me, this event is feeling like heaven on a stick! While I'm pleased with some aspects of my website, I am sooo ready for some web and design wisdom that I can reflect on to inform my next phase and really take my web presence - and my business - to a whole new level of effectiveness and contribution.)

About Sofia...
Sofia is Shortie Design's founder & Creative Director / Digital & Interactive Designer / WordPress Developer. She is also a comfortable and sought-after presenter and trainer at QUT, Brisbane Meetups and WordCamps.


Fascinated by usability, addicted to apps and Instagram, Sofia loves design and helping people make sense of the web. Believe it or not, in her previous life, she was a circus performer and after tiring of the bright lights of big tops and theatres, she swapped her trapeze for a Mac. 

(Mmm mmm, sounds like a neat match with the outside-the-box, go-for-it creative atmosphere of Women Howling at the Moon, would you agree?)

Now Sofia learns code instead of routines and is creative in a whole new way (seriously). After founding Shortie Designs in 2009, she’s kept busy designing WordPress websites and interactive media, developing and building online strategies to help SME’s grow their business.
