Teleseminar and Webinar Practice Session
Have you wondered what might be involved in hosting a teleseminar or webinar? How you'd manage the tech aspects as well as content?
Here's a chance to get a sense of what's involved for free. My invitation to you You are invited to join me (Chris) and a small group (up to 10 people) this Thursday evening 8pm - 9pm AEST (Brisbane, Australian Eastern Standard Time, ie UTC+10 hours) as we explore the ins and outs of online presentations together - and possibly enjoy the odd 'belly-flop' on my part! Background As a long-time educator and coach who's passionate about empowering others to make the difference they know they're here for, I love value-adding for myself and others by sharing the opportunities for learning, growing and connecting with new people and ideas. I've signed up for the lowest scale of www.Instantteleseminar.com. While I've had a couple of practice runs with 2-3 people, this will be my first 'proper' run. If you're interested in further info about teleseminars/webinars, the various options and users' experiences, you might like to join the Linked In group Coaches (Life, Business, Relationship, etc.) Support Group (it is members only, so you will need to join). In particular, the discussion thread entitled ' Hi all, Does anyone have a free webinar service that you'd recommend?' What you'll need to participate If you live outside the US, you'll need Skype, and access to a Flash-friendly device to be able to see the slides as well. (Which sadly means you'll need to use something other than an iPhone or iPad). Oh, and preferably a headset. Disclaimer I am not an expert in teleseminars! I'm a learner like you, interested in sharing the learnings. Also, I have no vested interest in Instantteleseminar - they just seem as though they will meet most of my needs at present, and seem to be a service used by a lot of the free webinars that I attend. After following the Linked In discussion, I'm also toying with the idea of testing another service, http://www.ezWebMeet.com in the near future. |
