I want to share about a Women Howling at the Moon business networking-with-a-difference event that I'm holding here in Brisbane this coming Monday 18th November. The response to the event has been just delightful. If the idea appeals to you, book soon. As I write, there are four spots available.
(Btw, if you won't make the f2f event for whatever reason, but you'd like to find out more about the network and/or the Map, read on and feel free to contact me for a chat. Eg if you're interested in having a group presentation on the Map, or if you'd like assistance to use the Map for yourself or as a wicked OD tool.)
November's featured presentation
Monday 18 November, 6.15pm for 6.30pm ..
Create Your Own Map of Meaning and have life be profoundly satisfying (btw that includes your business/work)
For many of us, the last couple of months in the year will include a goodly dose of reflecting back over the year and planning forward – along with heading into holidays, social events and such like.
Which makes November great timing for this mini Map of Meaning workshop.
The workshop introduces you to a simple yet profound tool that maps the elements that together create the experience (or absence) of meaningfulness, satisfaction and balance across work and personal life for us as individuals as well as for groups.
Since meaning is such a KEY DRIVER for human beings, the model quickly shows up what’s not working, and enables people to identify and generate solutions that they can put into action.
The Map is simple, easy to use, solidly grounded in research and can synchronise with and increase the usefulness of frameworks you already have in operation.
During the session you'll be able to put the Map to work to explore an aspect of your business or another area of your life in a way that's likely to leave you feeling complete and empowered - AND with insights and actions that will make a profound difference for you and those around you.

I feel honoured to be the founder of this Women Howling at the Moon business networking initiative for passionate, outside-the-box, make-a-difference women in the Brisbane community.
I’m also a courage catalyst and personal coach to professional women, with some 35 years in education and project management in local, state and national arenas.
I provide a loving-ferocious stand, audacious support and bold catalyst coaching for women ready to break through their barriers and realise the big visions they have for their businesses, for their personal lives, for their communities and for their world. And very importantly, for women to achieve this sustainably, so that they get to make the profound difference they know they are here for - AND every day is the life they love.
The Map of Meaning is a fundamental aspect of my coaching practice as well as for me in my own business and personal life. With it, people are able to connect immediately to what is important to them. They identify the source of their satisfaction or frustration. They see where and what needs to change. And out of those insights they create and enact their own solutions. That is empowerment. I love seeing the results in women's lives and that is what I want to share with you.

Women Howling at the Moon network event ..
HATM began in March this year as an experiment for a group of women who hadn't yet found a way as yet to meet their interests and needs within existing business network groups. It's turned out to be a winner and will be continuing and growing, while maintaining its small-group sense of connectedness.
The essence of HATM is business and project networking, community-building and focused growth opportunities for passionate, outside-the-box, make-a-difference women in the Brisbane community.
Hmm, what else would be helpful to say. Well, logistically in terms of the evening ..
Arrive at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start, in comfortable clothes. Park and walk up the path to a simple zen-like studio in a leafy tropical garden. The seating is mostly floor cushions with a smattering of chairs. There's a table on the verandah outside for signing in, and to share your business cards and other information. There's a tendency for women to hug when greeting - say the word or give a slight sign if you'd prefer not to hug.
You'll find that laughter, authenticity, friendship, a love of creativity, sustainability and a holistic approach to life tend to be valued by the women who attend Women Howling at the Moon events. Ah, and the willingness to howl a little just for fun! Or, just as fine, to be comfortable with others howling occasionally!
Having said all that, I'll be delighted to get out of the way so you can meet a few of the women - and they can speak for themselves.
From Dr Jane Stanley: "a terrific network - enjoyable and empowering' .. 'it helped renew and reenergise me.
For more comments, you might like to see what nine other women have to say on video have to say (scroll down to the bank of videos). The latest three are at the top.
Of the videos, if you're short on time and/or you're ready for a good laugh, check out Wendy Rogers' eloquent one-word testimonial in the top middle row! This could just be when
"Boinnnnngg!"
becomes a highly sought-after accolade, LOL!
You can also catch up on the flavour and content of the previous (October) Women Howling at the Moon event with it's brilliant presentation on Facebook by Julie Mason, The Social Media Princess. Really excellent. Women are still glowing from the connections and the presentation. More...
