A reflection on setting up to achieve our vision

People who are truly up for stepping into their courage and realising their vision, whether it's sailing the oceans or building their business or an environmental campaign know it really takes something, over and over. The main elements and sequence that I see making the crucial difference are:
- Having DREAMS THAT INSPIRE US. Truly the source of the wind in our sails for manifesting extraordinary results.
As Pamela Vaull Starr (1909-1993) says, 'Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.'
- HONOURING AND KEEPING THOSE DREAMS VIBRANTLY ALIVE IN OUR HEART AND MIND'S EYE. Here is the crucial sustaining and connecting step. What keeps the wind in our sails, and reminds us on a daily basis of the destination we want to be heading towards - and why we are doing what we are doing.
- These two elements in place provides the enabling context for LIVING THAT POSSIBILITY and FULFILLING ON OUR INTENTIONS with ease and grace over the short term or longer.
Looking at the present situation, and what you need to set sail, would you say there's enough existence structures in daily life and circumstances for the first two dotpoints: to keep your dreams alive in full sail and on track? Do they sometimes slip out of focus or are perhaps forgotten in the melee of daily commitments? Welcome to the human default condition. On the whole, we are not set up to operate at our edge, or to keep new behaviours or ideas in existence.
Tweaking the second element in the above list - i.e. keeping the dreams vibrantly alive - can be the minimal-effort catalyst point that can have you really deliver on your dreams this year. And, if you already feel you're on track, set your sails to reach your next stars.
