LinkedIn workshop

April's Women Howling at the Moon event continued the Getting Media Savvy Series - and it was all we could have asked for.

LinkedIn has become do-able, more-ish and even fun thanks to Amanda Hoffman's insights and magic, and her very well structured session and training booklets.

It was voted by all an excellent evening & Amanda has agreed to focus on Twitter next month and then Pinterest in August.

L-R Wendy Rogers (cinematographer), Annie O'Moon-Browning (health practitioner) & Amanda Hoffman (bookkeeper and social media trainer and presenter.

Aaaaah, the moon!

The total eclipse of the moon was, visually and noise-wise, a quiet event in Brisbane, yet sublime. A surprisingly large, quiet crowd stood patiently and reverently waiting at the lookout on Brisbane's highest hill, Mt Coot-tha, waiting for something that in its basic form occurs every day. The haziness of the atmosphere meant that the moon didn't show until quite high in the sky, and then as a pale ethereal globe. We weren't disappointed though, and enjoyed the almost Indian quality to the evening.
